Our client a leading energy company requires an Assistant Project Manager for there Bellshill office.

To apply for this role you should meet most of the following criteria:

Have a relevant engineering degree qualified or equivalent experience
Have considerable project management experience with a minimum 5 years in electrical transmission construction projects
Have experience of project risk management and control
Have a knowledge of and experience in the procurement processes
Be experienced in contract management
Have knowledge of financial control/forecasting
Understand the health, safety and environmental legislation applicable to construction projects
Be fully IT literate
Be excellent and dealing with clients, contactors and team members
Have excellent team management skills

Key responsibilities include:
To ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations
Managing and delivering work packages as part of a project portfolio
Supporting the Project Manager lead multi-disciplined project teams to deliver major infrastructure projects in a work package
Providing regular updates to Project Managers
Manage resolution of ad-hoc sites issues
Monitor and co-ordinate design change requests
Prepare and present milestone completion documentation to Project Team
