**Accounts Administrator**
Hays - Manchester

I am currently recruiting for a temporary Accounts Administrator job based in Manchester city centre for a business to business gas and electricity company. My client provides competitive gas and electricity rates to the care home, hospitality, retail and high end leisure industries. The team is a mix of experienced professionals who create an exciting and driven atmosphere. They have been in business since 2002 and are growing year by year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, with added duties as you progress and develop in the role:

Purchase ledger invoice processing
Sales ledger invoice processing
Supplier statement and bank reconciliations
Dealing with supplier queries
Direct debit collections from customers
Allocating sales receipts on Sage Line 50 on a weekly basis
Taking meter readings from customers
Completing account statements on Excel based on the above
Ad hoc administration duties

My client is ideally looking for someone with relevant experience to the above, as well as the following attributes:

Strong mathematical skills
Extensive knowledge on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
A minimum of 12 months experience in using Sage Line 50 – including allocating sales receipts and completing bank reconciliations.
Good organisational skills
Experience in direct debit collections
Good communication skills – both written and verbal
