An exciting position has arisen for a Senior Analyst in a growing Pharmaceutical company based in the Dundee area. As part of a leading pharmaceutical company who are successful worldwide, this role require driven and committed individuals in order to ensure the company's continued success.
The purpose of the role is to provide support & expertise of laboratory tasks and prepare/review quality documentation of active ingredients, excipients, formulations and packaged products in support of global commercial products.

Duties will include:
Plan & oversee the execution of analytical projects for global commercial products including those conducted at external laboratories
Prioritise and coordinate analytical testing to ensure timelines are met.
Act as a mentor and consultant to laboratory analysts on technical aspects of analysis and project specific studies.
Review and approve analytical data, investigations/ deviations and audit points.
Ensuring training requirements within the department are compliant.
Represent the laboratory on external project teams.
The ideal candidate will have a HND/Degree in Chemistry or a related degree or suitable work experience. You will have a strong analytical background in techniques including HPLC. You will have a knowledge of GLP,GMP and/or GCP compliance with the ability to demonstrate competency in the above duties. You will have excellent IT skills in Word, Excel & Power point. Candidates will have excellent communication skills, organisation skills and have the ability to work well in team environments.
