As Metering Technical Authority your main responsibilities will include
Support and Guidance to Contractor Metering Engineers and technicians (SNS)
Manage SNS metering budget and review and approve invoices
Review and approve Key Performance Indicator spreadsheets for contractor
Ensure scheduled work orders are being completed, Technically complete work orders when all work complete
Monitor measurement reporting to identify any mismeasurements that arise and ensure that these are captured and reported in a timely manner
Attend monthly contract meeting with contractor metering engineer focal point and operations manager
Develop Basis of Designs for replacement and new metering systems
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT's) and equipment calibrations
Critical Skills:
Degree qualified in an engineering discipline with extensive experience
Extensive knowledge of liquid and gas metering including wide understanding of current industry standards and practices
Proven record of managing technical and commercial interfaces
Proven record of maintenance and commissioning of all types of measurement principles
Experience in installation and working with various metering software packages (eg flocalc, metrology, CUI, Mon2000 etc.)
Proven Leadership and mentoring skills
Providing written reports to acceptable technical standard
