This site of a multinational organisation based in the Midlands are currently looking for a Development Engineer for their large site As a Development Engineer for Gas engine variants you will provide technical leadership on Mechanical development activities which meets or exceeds the requirements of internal and external customers RESPONSIBILITIES Mechanical development activity on components throughout the engine Testing structural analysis redesign Lead cost reduction activity Lead failure analysis and resolution Lead plant support activity Lead product tailoring projects Lead design reviews Failure Mode Effect Analysis and creation of new engine build standards Support component validation testing REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must have minimum of a 21 Degree in a relevant engineering discipline MSc preferred The engineer will be expected to progress towards being a Chartered Engineer SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Broad working experience in a similar role is desired 6Sigma trained and or qualified is preferred Skillsmechanical engine development testing analysis design FMEA validation testingQualificationsDegree 21 minimumKeywords develop or development and engine or engines and quot fault mode quot or faultmode or FMEA or F M E A
