- Having full knowledge of all products and services available and able to offer these to customers with confidence
- Understanding and obtaining customer needs to ensure that the full product solution is purchased to suit
- Explaining main policy statements
- Treating all Colleagues and Customers in a polite, professional, friendly and respectful manner
- Having a professional approach in answering incoming telephone calls and handling general customer enquiries
- Building and transacting all types of sales/refunds and exchanges and the accurate completion of all 3rd party agreements e.g. Sky
- Maintaining “Fit to Trade” standards and general housekeeping throughout the store
- Knowing stock levels and availability including promotional offers and special purchases Skills / Attibutes required for the role - Ability to demonstrate expert product knowledge with confidence
- Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic and outgoing approach to customers
- Committed to high standards of customer service and personal performance
- Self aware with a desire to listen to customers and understand their needs
- Ability to work well with colleagues and contribute to the team
- Experience of working in Electrical Retail environment or similar Customer Support role is desirable
