Jagex Ltd, the UK’s largest independent developer and publisher of online games, is looking for an experienced and creative copywriter.

As copywriter you will provide innovative copy across the marketing function; from writing emails which will be sent to tens of millions of people, to editing blogs and writing scripts for videos which will generate millions of views. The successful applicant will be a talented writer with the ability to produce creative, concise and engaging copy to tight deadlines.

Key Duties Include

Writing and optimising copy for company communication including brochures, direct mail, emails, web content, microsites, press releases, articles and more.

Producing original, clear and credible ideas, messages and/or scripts

Working closely with the marketing team to generate ideas for content strategies and development

Essential Requirements

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to write creative copy to suit varied target audiences

Can work independently on writing tasks, exercising self-discipline and time management

Professional approach with a keen eye for detail and the ability to be accurate and efficient when processing large volumes of work

Ability to demonstrate energy, commitment and enthusiasm, as well as a high degree of initiative and determination

Desirable Requirements

Passion for online gaming, especially MMOs

Previous experience working as a Copywriter in the gaming industry
