An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded business manager to join a successful and fast expanding regulatory consultancy servicing the chemical industry. Your role will be to drive forward the company’s growth, to develop and implement growth strategy and to conduct hands on business development with chemical companies and consortia.
The company offers a range of chemical regulatory services including REACH registration and compliance, testing programmes and CLP notifications. They have an established and highly regarded team of regulatory specialists and due to expansion, now seek a Managing Director to define and deliver growth strategy, to develop business with new and existing clients and to manage the operation of the business.
Applications are invited from candidates with a proven track record of business development within the chemicals sector, managing and developing growth strategy and ideally a strong working knowledge of chemical regulation. Previous experience in selling services and service packages would be highly desirable. Experience of setting and managing budgets and P&L responsibility would be advantageous. You must be a self starter, be highly motivated, able to work under you own initiative and have the desire and energy to lead the growth of a successful regulatory consultancy.
