Vacancies are available in Orthopaedic Surgery from 1st August 2012. These posts are available at a variety of levels equivalent to ST1/ST2 and ST3 within the West of Scotland, providing experience in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery in a mix of city and district general hospitals.

To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice. These posts require PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
These posts hold Educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will be Locum Appointments for Training or Clinical Fellows dependant on experience. If appointed as a Clinical Fellow the post will not be recognised for training.
The posts are based within the West of Scotland which is NHS Ayrshire and Arran, NHS Dumfries & Galloway, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde & NHS Lanarkshire. Applications are administered by NHS Dumfries & Galloway only.
