Previous experience, Food Hygiene Certificate, Knowledge of knife skills and SVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cooking is preferred but not essential as training can be given. Duties include assisting with the daily routine within the kitchen of the care home, washing up of the crockery and cutlery, helping prepare vegetables and any other related task as required. Successful applicant will be required to provide a PVG/enhanced disclosure. The expense of this will be paid by the applicant over a period of time if needed.
