Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa , part of the Hand Picked portfolio, is an architecturally stunning 4 star country house hotel set within its own landscaped gardens and grounds close to Nantwich in Cheshire.The hotel has 70 luxury bedrooms, a 2AA Rosette restaurant and a modern self-contained conference building.The health club and five bubble spa is set in a converted stable block offering eight treatment rooms, a relaxation room, glass roofed indoor swimming pool, fully-equipped gym and Cafe Bar.
We are currently recruiting for a Head Housekeeper who has a good understanding of the hotel industry.As Head Housekeeper you will ensure that standards are set and maintained and to the highest 4 star standard of cleanliness in the guest bedrooms and public areas.
You will be responsible for managing, motivating and training your team to ensure consistent standards and outstanding productivity is achieved at all times. The Head Housekeeper is responsible for the management of key departmental budgets along with carrying out administration duties within the housekeeping office and contributing to the management team.
The ideal Head Housekeeper will be a good communicator, have enthusiasm, a strong team spirit, be able to lead by example and have the ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail, passion for your job and being open and honest is equally important.
The ability to lead and develop a team through effective communication and development along with the focus to use key performers indicators to drive business and maximise opportunities is key to this role.
Applicants must have worked within hospitality to at least a 3 star standard, ideally 4 star. You must have held a similar position and one of responsibility.
