Our client one of the UK’s largest and most experienced providers of Government funded employment and skills training programmes, helping thousands of individuals find employment or gain qualifications every year are currently recruiting to the exciting position of Business Development Consultant.
Based in Chelmsford, the overall purpose of the role is to promote the full range of products and services the organisation provide and develop long-term sustainable relationships with local employers and stakeholders that will generate skills development opportunities for their staff and sustainable employment opportunities, work experience placements for their customers.
The main duties and responsibilities include;
Develop, maintain and own long term relationships with local employers that focuses on providing them with a holistic service aligned with the organisation’s product and service offer.
Engage with key stakeholders, to maximise the benefits for employers and customers.
Work with the Regional Business Development Manager and Centre Manager to agree a strategy for targeting local employers and key stakeholders.
Promote the organisation’s full range of employment and skills development services to employers via meetings, phone calls, emails, face to face visits, direct marketing activity, presentations and networking.
Candidates must have proven business development experience, with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes, along with strong communication skills and excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
