In this role you will be responsible for supporting the engineers in product design & development. It is a multi-faceted role, which includes a combination of CAD activity, hands-on prototyping, testing and PC based work. You will be required to do basic 3D CAD designs and drawings, prototyping & assembling of products, conducting mechanical tests, report writing and general engineering support activities. The role includes the coordination of the Mechanical Lab and CMM equipment.

You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical BTEC HND. Preference will be given to candidates that have the following:

• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with component / product testing & report writing.
• Hands on practical skills for example in product assembly, prototyping etc.
• Experience with using CMM equipment.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel)
