A legal internship at 4KBW is a unique opportunity for a candidate who has recently completed their BPTC and wishes to gain experience at a dynamic commercial law set in the heart of the legal district. Candidates will gain practical knowledge of civil and commercial litigation in addition to improving their skills in legal drafting, advocacy, research and persuasion.
The successful candidate will work closely with tenants, chambers management and the clerks.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following;
- legal research,
- attendance in conference,
- drafting correspondence,
- drafting legal documents including particulars of claims, skeleton arguments and advices,
- preparation of applications, trial bundles,
- note taking,
- working with clients.
There will also be opportunities to attend court with counsel to observe the court process and advocacy.
