The Service Engineer will deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction by providing effective aftersales service, trials, installations and maintenance to customers throughout the UK.
This is a field based role and the Service Engineer will be expected to visit customers throughout the UK, working from a home base and visiting the UK/European offices when required the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK.
The Service Engineer will perform corrective and curative interventions to ensure the fastest response time and adopt a ‘fix first time’ behaviour Assist with trials, installations and maintenance activity when planning allows, ensuring SAP is correctly completed for all works undertaken. A skilled Service Engineer with an electrical/electronic education combined with experience in the food manufacturing industry. Excellent communication skills with both internal and external contacts in advisory capacity. Ability to technically assess situations and issues and proactively advise on solutions, approaching opportunities from a business/commercial perspective and not solely from a customer service view point Must be able plan customer visits manage your time effectively.
