The Role:
They are currently recruiting for a developer to join their E-Trading Team based within their extensive IT department in their Northampton office.

As part of a customer facing team the E-Trading Developer will be developing and maintaining the electronic interface between their customers and suppliers. In this customer facing role you will be providing pioneering solutions to enable our customers to receive the best possible service.

Projects will often be quick turnaround and requirement gathering will be involved in the role so strong communication skills are necessary.

The team is growing rapidly so we are seeking ambitious individuals who strive to progress their career.

Main technologies used will include ASP.NET, and VB.NET. Other technologies will be used, training will be given.

What are they looking for?:
You will be educated to A Level or Degree standard and have a commercial software development background with practical knowledge of developing business logic, database procedures, and web technologies.
As well as a methodical and logical approach to programming and excellent planning and organisational abilities, you must be comfortable communicating with users at all levels of the business. You will be confident at estimating and testing.
