Due to a massive period of growth the opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Logistics/Logistics Director to join a market leading company in the South West. With an exemplary distribution management team currently in place, my client is looking for someone to take a strategic role in setting out, implementing and managing the distribution and logistical elements of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuing to develop the operation and performance of the distribution network to ensure optimum service levels across the business.

The candidate required will have proven experience and success in either retail or FMCG sectors. You will be able to manage, shape and lead the logistics and distribution structure at a strategic level but also be an implementer, able to drive and manage continual improvement. Ideally you will have experience of working with 3PL’s at both negotiation and operational stages.
