Reporting to the Team Leader - Independents, you will be responsible for controlling your own portfolio of accounts, ensuring adherence to agreed payment terms and credit limits. This involves constant telephone contact with customers and colleagues to resolve queries and to meet demanding debt and collections targets.You must have a proven record of e xperience in credit control with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ideally SAP as essential. You must beat your best under pressure and able to meet inflexible deadlines every time. Credit Controllers will be fully responsible for collection of overdue debts and aged debt management. You must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, be target orientated and have excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as being a team player.
