My client is looking to appoint an experienced Training/Development professional who has worked within the health/social services sector. The aim of the role is to develop the function, for example design and develop a talent management process.
Review provision of learning and QCF assessment and recommend options in line with the strategic requirement to modernise the provision of learning and development
Develop the assessment systems to identify learning and training needs and monitor and evaluate learning outcomes
Design, deliver and commission learning solutions in an integrated manner and at a cost effective price to meet T&D strategy and service requirements
Manage an operational delivery team within T&D to design, deliver and evaluate the provision of quality training. Work with external providers to commission and evaluate training provision which is not met through the in house team
Manage the T&D budget and identify income streams to supplement existing budget
Provide reports to the Executive Management Team and Board identifying trends, return on investment analysis and proposals for new T&D activity
To act as lead for external verification of City and Guilds accreditation Knowledge, Skills and Experience
A degree or relevant professional qualification or similar by experience A comprehensive working knowledge and experience of a wide range of models, concepts and diagnostic tools for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of the learning solutions Professional and specialist knowledge to provide consultative support in relation to QCF (NVQ) framework and Care Quality Commission and Skills for Care standards and requirements Systematic approach to training development and skills gaps Extensive experience of external and internal benchmarking practices Experience of managing in a framework of externally accredited learning Experience of managing an T&D function Articulate with practiced organisational skills and has the vision to develop the function by inspirational leadership Hays - 11 months ago
