Java (J2EE), SQL Server, Oracle, Weblogic

My client who are a cutting edge software organisation who work with the worlds leading banking institutions are currently in need of a Senior Java (J2EE) Architect with a breadth of banking expertise.

Experience Required:

• Solid Banking experience
• Mentally excellent, analytical and passionate individual
• Strong communicator, technical as well as customer-facing
• Breadth of experience of both projects and verticals
• Breadth of experience of platforms and technologies
• Good mentor and inspiring technical leader
• Full exposure to all parts of a project life cycle

Desirable Technical Skills

• Experience designing complex multi-tiered solutions
• Application servers such as Websphere, Weblogic or JBoss
• Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or DB2
• Object oriented languages such as Java, C# or C
• Flex development experience (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the overall technical solution of customer projects
• Lead the development team in the implementation, helping out as necessary
• Act as technical owner in all customer facing activities
• Liaise and plan project with PM regarding technical progress
• Mentor junior colleagues on sounds design and implementation
