Hallam Medical are currently looking to recruit RGN's for a challenging and interesting role within a prison setting. We are currently recruiting for a prison based in Canterbury.Working as part of a team of Primary Nurses, you will ideally have some experience working with mental health/addiction issues but this is not essential.You will have at least 1 years’ experience within an acute environment, have previously worked with challenging behaviours and be able to work under pressure.You should be a good team player, have a good knowledge of clinical governance, as well as a competent practitioner.Due to the secure nature of this role, the following rules and restrictions will apply to all applicants: Six months (min) experience and valid NMC Pin We ideally need people with CC clearance RGN-qualified (dual-qualified RGN/RMN highly desirable) RGNs must have current NMC registration You must have a British Passport or Indefinite Leave to Remain and have been in the UK for at least the last 5 years (3 years if you are from within the EU) You must be prepared to undertake an Enhanced CRBRegistered General Nurses: £25,528-£34,189 depending on qualification and experience.If you are interested in this position, please email your CV to emmagorman@hallammedical.com or call Emma on 0844 335 0395Candidates must have a valid NMC Pin Number.Candidates must be authorised to work in the EEC.
