As an experienced Marketing Professional you will report to the Managing Director and the Board and will be fully responsible for all aspects of the Marketing requirements of the business. The role will also encompass responsibility for Public Relations - a vital aspect for the UK's 'Car Buyer's Champion' which also holds the naming rights for two major arena venues.
Current marketing activity consists of Television, Print Media, Radio, Outdoor and Online. The role will also have control over Mobile and Internet development and content.
This is a wide ranging marketing role with real involvement in driving customers to our physical locations and our website and is suited to someone who has the ambition and drive to make things happen. The role is based at the Group's Head Office in Derby.
Marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C.
Manage key relationships with external media and creative agencies
Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the Senior Management Team Budget management. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.
To generate timely and positive PR media coverage across all available media.
To conduct market research to identify requirements for current & future products.
Own and manage www.motorpoint.co.ukand influence outbound marketing activity.
Responsible for SED, Social Media and all other web content.
Management of one employee [PR & Social Media based role).
Drive footfall to physical locations by developing local marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator capable of building outstsnding relationships with the Senior Management Team.
