Network Security Engineer is required to join a global Telecoms organisation that is currently looking for a number of SOC Analyst with backgrounds in IT Security/telecoms based in Kent near the M25 corridor (West Kent).

You will form an integral part of a team, supporting the SOC 2nd Line diagnostic team, troubleshoot customer problems within security and network domain, to accurately log, update and close event management tickets within the company's guidelines. Review, advise and implement firewall changes.

The primary skills required for this role are those around Checkpoint, Cisco and Juniper firewalls and Bluecoat proxies would be bonus.

The ability to build and manage Cisco switches would also be beneficial.

Key Skills:

• Experience of supporting Checkpoint FW1 technologies (VSX & NGX)
• Management platforms checkpoint secure platform, checkpoint provider 1 & Nokia Horizon.
• Nokia, Checkpoint Secure platform FW implementations.
• Implementing and support of Cisco VLan networks, Multi-Layer switching, VPN's and Pix firewalls.
• Network management tools including Concorde E-Health, SMARTS, HP Openview and Nagios.
• CCNA
• CCSA
• SC cleared or capable of being SC Cleared.
