An exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for the next step into a Finance Manager role. This is a varied & key position within the recruitment business of this FTSE 100 organisation. Responsibilities will include:-
- To lead in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
- To be the lead for financial reporting and provide meaningful commentary on key monthly variances for month end profit and loss results and presentation of month end results to the Operations / Finance Directors.
- To financially contribute to the monthly forecasting process and the annual planning process by providing financial guidance and forecast training to relevant levels of management.
- To financially monitor the credit control process within the businesses so that debt is kept within target levels set within the business and by Group Finance.
- To lead, develop, implement, review and analyse all key financial controls and cost/revenue drivers, including management information, for the business.
- To contribute on the development of bid models to evaluate the financial case for all new proposed contracts.
- To forecast, reconcile and analyse working capital for the business so that maximum levels of positive cash flow are maintained.
- To ensure that cost base is aligned with the needs of the business, in terms of resourcing, commission structures and overhead costs.
The Finance Manager will have good management accounting experience from a large / corporate background, ideally service sector focused. The ability to build relationships & negotiate at all levels is essential. SAGE & / or SAP would be beneficial.
