Web Development Manager - Glasgow City Centre £45,000 - £55,000
Cathcart Associates are currently recruiting a Web Development Manager for a well-established Scottish brand that is part of a recognisable global brand. My client is seeking an experienced manager who can lead a team of both front and back end developers.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced man manager with a proven track record to motivating and leading fast-paced technical teams in a dynamic environment. While the role is not technically hands on, an understanding of web and/or database technologies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have impeccable communication skills in order to effectively communicate technical issues to a variety of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will:
# Have a proven track record of leading and motivating a technical team to strict deadlines in a thriving and challenging environment
# Have a strong management and communication style and be able to communicate your views to senior business stakeholders
# Manage a number of simultaneous projects from new system developments, system enhancements, and on-going support of the sites
# Be able to communicate and interact with front-end and back-end developers to produce exceptional front-end designs, developments and complex database driven websites.
# Have impeccable time management skills in a very fast paced and thriving environment, and excellent communication skills across all levels
# Be passionate and knowledgeable about digital technologies
