An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Java Developer with to join a highly reputable leading investment organisation, working within their successful Development Team in an exceedingly technical and challenging environment. As a Java Developer, you will be Developing and designing J2EE / Web applications using Java, Javascript, HTML, whilst maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
You must have a proven ability to utilise and intensive architectural J2EE applications and deliver intensive enterprise integration components. A good knowledge of J2EE Architecture and Design Patterns with proven usage and an ability to deliver applications with emphasis on non-functional requirements (Scalability, Reliability, Robust, etc)

Required Skills:
6+ years Java / J2EE Development
6+ years JSP's, HTML / CSS web development
6+ SQL skills
4+ years Hibernate / Spring
4+ Junit Skills
Good knowledge of Maven, Artifactory, Subversion, Eclipse, CVS, Ant
Good knowledge of continuum and usage
Good Shell Scripts knowledge
Good Unix / Linux skills
Good Javascript / Tomcat / JBOSS / Websphere / DB2 and MYSQL skills
Good JDBC integration skills
Good Knowledge J2EE Design patterns and extensive use with applications,
Good J2EE architecture skills and knowledge
Some understanding of IT architecture, servers, O.S
Capable of explaining technical concepts in an easy to understand manor
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to interact with people at all levels in the company
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal are a must and although you will be working in a strong, established team, you will also bear the ability to work autonomously and must be goal orientated, driven and assertive.
