This niche product manufacturer has developed an enviable reputation for delivering engineering excellence to a varied customer base. They have a robust business plan in place, with their current sales team forecasting further successes throughout 2012.

Role & Responsibilities:
o Design for manufacture
o Design and develop products to meet customer specification and advise customers on the best design solutions.
o Taking the product from conception to completion, leading design reviews whilst liaising closely with customers and suppliers.
o Working on a project basis to deliver products to cost and time.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
o Qualified to HNC level in Mechanical Engineering or similar
o Experience in Mechanical Design and DFM
o Ability to analyse product performance.
