Working As a Customer Services Advisor within The Customer Accounts team you will be helping us to provide a one stop shop for rent payments, complaints, general advice on the room and the location, by confidently and clearly communicating the options available to our tenants along with supporting our property based colleagues, with credit control and being subject matter experts in the student accommodation sector.
Purpose of Customer Services Advisor Role:
To provide customer accounts support, administering all enquires to the point of resolution. To deliver central processes and conduct all duties in line with Company policy and procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a high level of service to customers regarding their accounts via the telephone and by email.
- Ensuring that all activities are compliant with audit requirements for policy and procedure including Data Protection.
- Providing a decisive and effective response to customer complaints, assisting in and resolving any minor customer disputes.
- Following up on any issues requiring action in a timely manner, engaging with line management when necessary.
- Flagging any immediate operational issues with company information systems to line management.
- Maintaining an understanding of legislation relating to customer accounts including the Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.
Candidate profile
Ideally the Suitable candidate will;
- Have previous experience of working in a call centre environment.
- Work well under pressure and be motivated by targets
- Have good computer literacy including previous experience of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing
- Display an objective, professional and calm approach when handling difficult situations
- Have previous experience of and commitment to understanding, empathising and delivering against customer needs
- Have previous experience of working within credit control or debt collection
- Have experience of and ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Be able to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required
