Main Purpose of the Job:
To undertake Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) design & engineering activities within the group, in respect of both design and consultancy services. To provide technical support and assistance.
Principal Accountabilities: Undertaking of tasks as assigned, in particular:
Delivering catenary engineering (design and consultancy) specific tasks;
Contributing a catenary engineering input to electrification engineering (design and consultancy) projects;
Contributing a catenary engineering input to multi disciplinary railway engineering (design and consultancy) projects;
Provide design & CAD support for developing detailed designs.
Contribute to developing PB Infrastructure’s company expertise in catenary engineering.
Observation of company quality and project management disciplines and procedures, as relevant to tasks undertaken.
In all activities to contribute to the development of PB Infrastructure’s business in the field of railway infrastructure engineering.
Where relevant, observation of learning and development objectives as per Career Development Plan.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 months experience in OLE design/CAD. Familiar with OLEMI design range. Minimum HNC in Mechanical/Structural engineering.
