This is a full time, permanent role based in Winnersh

This operational position is responsible for day to day activities relating to the provision of software and Hardware services provided to our clients, managing the asset register and IT licensing arrangements where you will be working closely with the Software / Hardware Compliance manager in order to deliver effective services. You will be exposed to a broad range of duties that will include things such as:

Handle/filter incident requests concerning Software
Be responsible for Data entry into the Software Compliance Database and Library for license and media control
Filing of Software Licences and Media

• Administration of the acquisition, storage, distribution, movement and disposal of IT assets
• Suggest process or procedural improvements as necessary with respect to services offered by the Service Line
• Asset Disposal
• Assist in the management and production of reporting and manipulation of data in order to assist reporting requirements.
• Checking the implementation software changes

Job Requirements

We are looking for a committed and driven individual, with a natural attention to detail to be able to cope with an administrative style role within IT. As such we are willing to consider application from any field or similar background relating to asset management, but the ideal candidate will have the following type of experience:

• Knowledge and experience of Software Asset Management Industry Standards
• Experience of software licensing agreements / contracts within the Market place.
• Understanding of compliance status & licensing arrangements
• ITIL Foundation (Ideal but not essential).
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, written and verbal.
• Have ability to establish relationships with the customer quickly and effectively.
• Possess excellent organisation skills.
• Have ability to work both autonomously and as part of a service team.
• Implementation and Maintenance of best working practices for the Service Line.
