Telephonist / Receptionist - Band 3
Salary: £15,609.00 - £18,636.00 per annum
Hours: - Full Time 37.5 per week
St Andrew’s Healthcare Security Department is looking to recruit a Telephonist /Receptionist to work within the Northampton site. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to take control of difficult situations in a professional manner. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be smart and presentable and work well in a team.
You will be responsible for the operation of the charity’s switchboard system and for the prompt communication of all medical emergency and fire incidents. The ability to work under pressure is essential. You will be required to update the computerised telephone directory and other computerised data, to cover reception duties at times of absence and provide a professional and effective switchboard/reception service. You will also assist the Service Administration Team whose duties include post sorting, general administration duties including typing and collating of reports, photocopying, laminating, creating posters, booking rooms and catering requests.
