Commercial Project Manager – Onshore – Siemens Wind Power

What are my responsibilities?

Financial/commercial management of project(s) with the aim of finishing the project(s) in the given time, budget and quality framework with the greatest possible positive profit and EVA effectiveness and to the customer's satisfaction.

Working Partners

Projects for Siemens Energy Renewables Wind Power (E R WP) in UK; project size £10m to £150m depending on number and type of turbine; duration 1-2 years

Contacts;

INTERNAL: Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, World HQ Brande; project and site managements (both Brande and Site), specialist departments (insurance, tax, legal), contract management, other contributing dept within Energy and Siemens plc.

EXTERNAL: Customer organizations and consultants, public authorities, legal/tax consultants, banks and financial institutes, consortium partners and suppliers, auditors

Tasks:

• Execution of contracts with customers, consortium partners, regional units and suppliers maximizing both project profit and customer satisfaction.
• Collaboration in project teams and with new employees to achieve specified results/goals.
• Defining the project execution strategy including tax strategy in line with the customer's contract structure.
• Performing all financial/commercial duties within the project(s), such as establishing commercial terms and conditions, accounting (US GAAP, SAP, SOA, IKS), payments, funding, currency management, taxes, customs declarations, claim balancing and financial statements, possibly dispatch schedule monitoring.
• On-schedule, quality-assured incorporation of the final offer-calculation into the order entry calculation (OIC).
• Planning, reporting and preparation/ execution of project status meetings Cost accounting and controlling.
• Ongoing optimization of processes to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity, and to increase profit.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Relevant Energy Sector Business Processes(project execution, sales, purchasing, LoA)
• Relevant Energy Sector /Siemens organization knowledge and Relevant Energy Sector Market/Industry knowledge (power plant industry, energy market) would be beneficial
• Business Administration Project Controlling Accounting Principles (US GAAP, HGB)
• Asset Management Analysis / Statistics Calculation methods / Finance Models
• Project Management experience- methods and tools
• Contract/Claim Management
• Risk Management
• Currency Management
• Presentation techniques relevant IT systems (MS Office, SAP)
• Basic German / Danish strongly preferred
• English Intercultural skills
• Quality Management - methods and tools - Sarbanes-Oxley/ICS

Experience:
Several years of experience in project management within an international business.

Extensive experience in the financial, commercial and contract management of large-scale, international projects
