POSITION PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Subsea 7 has several substantial on-going and recently-awarded EPIC projects, plus significant long-term North Sea IRM project frame agreements, providing positive opportunities to enhance existing experience portfolios.
As a result of this and our ambitious growth strategy over the next 5 years globally, we are currently recruiting for engineers who are looking to enhance and diversify their engineering experience profile, with opportunities for professional development and promotion to a senior position.
This role is ideal for someone with some DSV/ROVSV construction/ IRM engineering experience, who can demonstrate ability to work on project scopes such as preparation of comprehensive installation procedures and HIRAs, through to offshore execution and close out of As Built documentation.
You will also enjoy working in a dynamic environment, where you can demonstrate your ability to react to and manage change and get the best out of people by working efficiently and learning from past project experience. Knowledge of the installation of subsea structures, flexible flow lines and umbilicals is also preferable.
Initial assignment could be to a large construction project or one of the long-term IRM/Light Construction frame agreements which offer exposure to short, sharp project scopes with durations from weeks to months, start to finish. These also have CAPEX elements which may involve procurement, design management, installation and commissioning of permanent works, such is the diversity of the projects.

Subsea Construction / IRM
DSV / ROVSV operations
Flexible pipelines / risers / umbilicals
Pipeline bundles
ROV intervention/tooling
The Project Engineer will provide technical support and be accountable for a specific part of the project workscope, and will be required to take the task offshore and execute installation. The candidate will have a working knowledge of subsea installation techniques, equipment and methods; fabrication/construction methods, and general subsea installation practices, plus at least an awareness of rigging & sea fastening; isolations and barriers.

It is desirable for candidates to be qualified in an Engineering discipline however, demonstrable relevant industry experience will also be considered.
