HR ADMINISTRATOR

Experienced HR Administrator required to work on a temporary ongoing basis at a large distribution centre in the Peterborough area.

Working as part of the HR function, you with be responsible for administration and maintenance of personnel records, Assist in tracking new joiners, leavers and absences.

Duties
Assist in auditing the Recruitment Agencies paperwork, procedures and systems.
Enable cooperation between Payroll, HR and Agencies – monitoring Agency Representatives to ensure they submit timely and accurate data on a weekly basis.
Provide reports as requested relating to, leavers, starters, and absences.
Assist with the provision of data for the Agency scorecard.
Assist in the scheduling of and take notes during Investigation, Disciplinary and Grievance meetings
Consult with the line managers and all other employees on Labour Law, HR Policies, HR Processes, Compensation, etc.
Support the maintenance of employment policies and procedures that are specific to operations
Support the recruitment of additional Associates to assist during peak periods
Develop and maintain suitable communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across the Operations function
Ensures compliance with UK and EU legislation
Enables cooperation between payroll and FC/ HR (incl. decision making concerning payroll problems and processes
Inform payroll of details of new employees and keep them updated with employee changes of address, bank details, etc…
Administer and advise on employee benefits
Maintain and audit all personnel filing systems. File all personnel paperwork into personnel files in a timely manner. As directed by line manager, audit personnel files and track down missing paperwork as appropriate

Qualifications/Skills:
Be commercially focused and possess a can do/ will do attitude
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office , specifically Excel
Quality of work- Consistently provides the highest quality service. Completes work accurately. Pays attention to detail
Interpersonal skills- Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal customers. Treats others with respect. Builds trust and rapport
Due to visiting agency premises, must have full driving license and use of own car
invoice queries and be the first point of contact for all suppliers , liaising with accounts to expedite all invoice queries.
