A Protection Insurance Sales Consultant, with proven telephone-based sales experience, is sought to join this commercial insurance specialist – one of the largest firms of commercial brokers in the UK.
The role will include selling protection policies; including life assurance, critical illness cover , business protection and income protection, to existing business customers. Due to the existing client base, no cold-calling or canvassing is necessary.
TITLE: Protection Insurance Sales Consultant
SALARY: Basic £17,500 - £20,000 plus uncapped commission. Average OTE £35,000+
HOURS: Mon-Thur 11am to 8pm and Fri 9 to 5
As a Protection Insurance Sales Consultant, you must possess:
- Confidence, with excellent communication skills
- A successful track record in sales, mainly telephone-based
- Previous experience in financial services is beneficial but by no means essential
The main aspects of this Insurance Sales Consultant position:
- Telephone-based, targeted on converting enquiries from businesses into sales (all sales leads are provided and pre-qualified by the lead generation team)
- Contacting existing clients, offering them additional insurance and protection policies
- Managing your portfolio of clients and providing them with additional related products
- You will have your own dedicated assistant who manages all of the administration on your behalf, allowing you to concentrate on building rapport and closing business
