To manage aftersales purchasing activity at European level for given portfolio taking into account global, European and Renault Nissan Purchasing Organisation (RNPO) direction. Main Tasks & Responsibilities For the range of products under their responsibility:
- Develop and define purchasing strategy in coordination with RNPO, Purchasing, Aftersales management
- Maintain supplier panel and propose future sourcing direction
- Define and implement action plans to optimize cost savings in line with cost reduction objectives
- Achieve cost reduction targets
Ensure accuracy of savings report data (both year to date and year end forecast)
- Work with teams including Aftersales C&A Product Planning, AS Product Engineering, and Quality Assurance to complete sourcing and secure development of new products for Nissan's current and future vehicles in Europe
Ensure adherence to RNPO and Nissan global purchasing requirements (e.g. purchasing process, negotiation and implementation of Master Purchase Agreement) Additional Tasks and responsibilities (include team management, if any) The Buyer may be requested to take responsibility for other projects and/or commodities on an ad-hoc basis. This may include, among other things, working with Nissan’s European sales subsidiaries to improve their purchase performance of locally sourced products.
Nissan operates a zero injury program and undertakes proactive health and safety activities annually to work toward eliminating industrial accidents, occupational
illnesses, and traffic accidents. Part of your role will be to ensure you understand and follow health and safety policy and procedure.

Some previous experience working in an international environment would be an advantage. Minimum Education Required Europe - Licence/Degree/Candidate - 3 or 4 years degree after A Level Specific Technical Skills Motivated and pro-active.
High level of communication skills.
Strong negotiator and ability to work in a team environment
Flexible – e.g. ability to support business trips as and when required (in some cases at short notice)
