Insurance organisation in Barry is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join them on a permanent basis.
The role of the Account handler is to provide support to the Account Execs in delivering the targeted level of business. In undertaking this role, the Account Handler is responsible for:
Meeting the target objective for new business, renewals and cross selling performance as defined for the Account Execs and Account handlers.
Delivering a service level to existing customers over the life of their policy to ensure the successful renewal.
Working with the customer to ensure that required adjustments to their policy are recorded accurately and appropriately reflected in the policy documentation, renewal premiums and commission rates.
Working with customers and prospects to generate new business either through the cross-selling of services or the successful sale of new services to new prospects.
Meeting commitments to deadlines.
Working with the insurer, account exec and customer to put in place the policy that meets the customer needs and delivers the earnings level as defined by the Company objectives.
Promoting the services of preferred insurers where possible.
Meeting target levels of business with preferred insurers.
Contributing to the achievement of Account Exec., SBU, branch and Company targets through the exchange of potential business opportunities/leads across the Company.
Their own personal development and training to ensure that adequate knowledge and skills are maintained to undertake the role effectively. This will be undertaken with the support of the office manager and training manager.
