Insurer Development Manager – Technical Development
An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to work within the Panel & Product Development (PPD) team. This important role requires an incumbent who is highly organised and can combine excellent technical knowledge of Insurance with the ability to develop business relationships. The successful candidate will have the analytical skills needed to maximise the value of BGL’s relationships with Insurers.

The role:
- Develop and maintain robust technical relationships with Insurer portfolio ensuring that the such relationships are managed, tracked and monitored to deliver optimal performance for BGL
- To provide leadership, direction and support to members of the Insurer Development team in relation to development of Insurer accounts
- To support the relationship between internal business units and Insurers ensuring that engagement is appropriately managed in line with Product & Panel Development strategy and governance protocols.
- Analyse and accurately interpret Insurer needs and key deliverables to provide tailored solutions
Day to day product management of Insurers, including, rate impact analysis, KPI analysis, Insurer performance tracking, working with Insurers to suggest appropriate net rate changes.
You must be able to demonstrate:
§ Strong experience of the Insurance market, including underwriting experience
§ Knowledge of products, distribution models and operating models
§ Account performance analysis
§ Market knowledge & practice
§ Ability to manage and develop a team
§ Strong experience in stakeholder management
