This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced software developer to join an established consultancy based in Central Glasgow. You will be part of the central development team responsible for delivering projects on the service delivery roadmap. You will be working on a number of projects all based on Microsoft .Net technology.
Main responsibilities; - design, development and deployment of application components- contribute to definition and design of solution architecture and development processes- unit testing of developed application components
The successful candidate will be degree qualified and have the following experience; - 3 years + experience in web application development- Microsoft .Net - Asp.Net, VB.Net, C#, WCF, XML- SQL Server database development including T-SQL, database design and development, stored procedures, functions, views- knowledge of MS IIS- JQuery, AJAX, Javascript, CSS- Experience of working in an Agile environment- Experience of formal source control and change control processes
It would be desirable to be MCTS/MCPD qualified, have data warehousing experience, SSIS, SSAS, MDX, Microsoft Enterprise Library, Silverlight, Subversion, DotNetNuke.
