URGENT - Health and Safety Officer (Contractor)
WPR is exclusively seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer for our client, a leading NI based Building Contractor currently seeking to add to its workforce for a 9 month contract (maternity cover).
We would be very interested in talking to candidates who are highly experienced in site based HSE roles. You will have ample experience in local construction projects within the building/civil engineering sector.
NEBOSH General certificate (at least) is required for this position, along with experience on scaffolding, H&S planning and uploading systems / ISO.
We are interested in talking to candidates who have excellent site inspection experience with regards to scaffolding, working at height, excavations. The successful candidate will be office based for 4 days of the week compiling construction phase plans, CSR applications, organise training, investigate accidents and take witness statements, carry out inductions, update ISO/OHSAS systems. You will have first class organisational skills, good computer skills (word, excel, adobe) and at least 3 years construction experience.
Salary will be negotiable for the chosen candidate.
