Our client is currently seeking a process engineer to work within a team of engineers having a responsibility for a particular product range and production area.

The company use a fresh and effective approach in their business manner, and have a low turnover in staff because of this.

The candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation of new and improved manufacturing and logistical processes using lean manufacturing techniques for existing and new product ranges, in line with the following key objectives:

Efficiency

Quality

Waste

Capacity

About the role:
Permanent Position.

Up to 24k Salary (depending on experience).

37.5 Hours per week.

Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.00pm.

Group personal pension plan.

Job Responsibilities:
Introduce and maintain effective continuous improvement processes.

Carry out work studies and balance production processes to improve operational KPIs.

Carry out work studies in relation to production processes.

Identify the most accurate facility and equiptmen layouts.

Review and improve material flow throughout the business.

Introduce and maintain BOMs

Progress projects through the Engineering change process.

Support the introdutcion of new products in line with the new product development process.

Essential Criteria:
A Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum 2:1 classification.

Minimim 1 years experience working in a process engineering role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in the use of MS Office and CAD software.

Experience of developing and introducing products/processes.

Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Ideally experience with the following production equiptment: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electrical and Cutting and Pressing machinary.
