Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a team. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential, as well as excellent communication skills. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not necessary, however previous experience of order picking, maintaining stock levels, working with raw materials and finished products in a factory environment would be a distinct advantage. A basic knowledge of using computers is desirable. Duties will include checking in deliveries, receiving and putting away sample products, preparation of products including cutting sanding and polishing where appropriate, using pick sheets, packing of delicate and fragile products, advising on stock and replenishment, maintaining excellent housekeeping in samples area, scanning of orders.
