Subsea Controls Engineer/Inspector

As Subsea Controls Engineer/Inspector your main responsibilities will include

Monitoring of the Subsea Controls Contractor detail design and construction work

Monitoring of the design, procurement, testing and commissioning of the umbilical cores in the subsea pipeline bundle and its tie-ins

All subsea controls tie-ins

Witnessing of Subsea Controls Contractor FAT/FIT/SAT/SIT

Provide quality coordination to the Project Quality Manager as required

Assistance with overall system commissioning offshore

Provide company representation on any controls related offshore surveys

Ensure that all subsea controls manufacturing and installation work is executed in an entirely safe manner and in accordance with the project HSE management plan and company corporate HSE policy

Lead by example in promoting safety, quality and environmental philosophies

Ensure that all technical documents, drawings, letters, emails, transmittals MOM's, reports etc are communicated / transmitted via and in accordance with project approved document management and control systems / processes

Attend and provide input to regular progress meetings as required by the Engineering Manager and/or Instrumentation & Controls Project Engineer

Provide timely inputs to regular reporting requirements

Qualifications and Skills

Highly experienced in subsea controls system engineering, design, inspection

Familiar with QA/QC requirements during manufacturing/fabrication of subsea control systems

Familiar with the full suite of subsea control function testing and system integration testing

Good communications skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.

Current offshore survival certificates and medical certificate

This is a contract position
