MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE:
Devising and implementing agreed sales strategies which focus on growing the business in a sustained manner.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Identifying individual major projects where the company's products and services may be required, ensuring that the company is known to all suppliers to that project and that the company appears on the relevant tender pre-qualification lists for those projects.
Identifying key consultants to the industry and ensuring that they are aware of the company and its products and seeking to achieve promotion on the projects with which they work.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships and a high level of personal communication with UK and key accounts, paying particular attention to ensuring that they are not lost to competitors and to ensuring that any issues are controlled.
Developing and maintaining levels of customer service that meet the needs of the customer.
Preparing management information in a timely manner.
Maintaining confidentiality regarding the company's designs, market strategy and customer base and abiding by Tyco's Vital Values.
Ensuring pursue and prospect lists are kept up to date and reviewed regularly.

A proactive approach and the ability to motivate other team members to meet tight deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
A proven track record of closing sales & meeting targets in a high technology business.
Ability to devise and implement effective sales strategies.
Proven success in identifying new business opportunities.
Experience of working effectively as part of a team, both within Sales and across the business.
A willingness to travel overseas as required.
Experience in the public address and alarm industry
