This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a TPS co-located design team working with Carillion at Peterborough on a GN-GE Network Rail Contract. We are currently seeking a CAD technician with 3-5 years track-side Civil Design experience, who have an understanding of Network Rail design processes and turning the pre-approved Form A designs into site specific Form B design. Safety Critical training (PTS) will be given. Ability to use CAD (Microstation) to Network Rail standards would be a significant advantage.
The purpose of the job is to provide sound fee earning Engineering design to both internal (Carillion) and external clients under minimal supervision which adds value both internally to TPS and to our clients by providing economic solutions. Civil / Structural Engineering Design is highly skilled and carries significant risk and therefore needs to be carried out by technically capable, qualified individuals with a passion to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
