Leading IT Services company in Crewe is looking to recruit a 1st / 2nd Line Network Support / NOC Engineer to provide technical support on a 24/7 basis. Within this new and exciting position you will be required to provide technical and networking support to customers at a 1st and 2nd level. The role will involve Cisco, Brocade and Netgear kit and also give you the opportunity to support both LANs and WANs. You can also expect to gain knowledge of VOIP implementations, wireless technologies and security products. The team deal with a high number of email and telephone issues and therefore excellent written and spoken English is essential.

This position would be ideal for a Network Administrator or 1st Line NOC Engineer who is looking for a new challenge with a forward thinking organisation. Preferred skills and abilities include knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI 7 Layer Model and experience supporting local area and wide area networks. Certifications such as a CCNA or any other networking / routing & switching related qualifications / degree would be highly advantageous. Whilst this is a technical role the successful network engineer is expected to have excellent customer care and communication skills
