Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant (reference: Hammersmith Kitchen Porter)
£6.25 per hour
42 ½ hours per week ( 7.00am – 4pm Monday to Friday)
42 weeks per year (salary paid equally over a 12 month period)
This position is Term-time only (school term time+ 1 week)
Salary paid equally over 12 months

Innovate are looking for a capable Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to work in this busy kitchen.
As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and Hygiene standards in your catering unit at all times.
Your duties will include washing pots, pans and cutlery etc., assist with checking off and storing away deliveries, counting stock, counting and taking out waste to the rubbish bins, and you may also be asked to assist with food deliveries and food preparation. You should be happy to undertake any task given to you.
The below qualifications and experience are required for this role (willingness to undertake or gain the experience and training).
Food Hygiene Certificate Understanding of COSHH Health & Safety awareness Able to work under pressure Willingness to undertake health and safety and food safety training Good level of spoken and written English Good level of fitness to enable you to undertake the lifting of boxes of stock Training is compulsory and supplied the company, which you must undertake.
This position will require the post holder to have a Criminal Records Bureau check and reference carried out on them by the company.
