The Role: As Areas Sales Manager you will be responsible for one of three areas:
1) Cheshire, Manchester and North Wales
2) Merseyside and Lancashire
3) Leeds and Sheffield
You will be dealing with cash and carry’s, wholesalers, independent retailers and garden centres. The majority of your time will be spent managing existing clients and nurturing long standing relationships. Using the PDA reporting system, you will conduct in store analysis spotting opportunities to increase distribution and brand positioning. You will be expected to conduct thorough merchandising initiatives as well as deliver strong reasoning to retailers behind the adjustment s made in store.
The Person: The ideal candidate will have a solid FMCG grounding in a food or none food environment. You will be high efficient in diary planning, call objectives, sales reporting and overcoming objections. It is imperative that you are well presented, polished in your overall approach and personable when dealing with clients.
