Responsible for and management of directly delivered services within a delivery centre, or multiple centres, including staff management, quality and performance. By effective management of all resources. Maximise financial and quality performance to meet or exceed the expectations of all stakeholders.
Key Duties will include:
To make a significant contribution in respect of regional performance and ensure delivery in their centre / centres in relation to the following targets
Monitor and review the performance of your business plan taking steps to address any issues or underperformance
Ensure that any pre-determined income targets are met within the agreed periods
Work effectively and collaboratively with partners and suppliers to ensure contract performance
Take full responsibility for ensuring that Avanta Quality Assurance systems are adhered to at all times
Where responsible for re-contracting or re-tendering, ensure these are accurate and agreed with the business development dept
Work with JCP staff to ensure marketing and customer engagement activity engages voluntary and mandatory work programme customers (KJ comment: If not in this JD, needs to feature in one of the JDs)
Ensure that all returns, submissions and statistics are accurately completed and returned to the appropriate sponsor or Avanta administration team within the stipulated period
Ensure that established administrative systems and databases are maintained, reviewed and controlled in accordance with Avanta procedures and the Data Protection Act
Written reports are presented to the line manager when requested and verbal briefings or presentations are made as required
Ensure that effective communication is maintained with all staff at all times
Ensure that individual and group targets are set out, recorded and staff understand, agree and conform with these
Ensure the efficient management of staff resources, recruitment, timetabling of staff including holidays and sickness cover, weekends and evenings if appropriate
Ensure that all staff are kept informed of all internal and external developments and activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on the company or group in general including local labour market information
Recent and significant experience as a manager with a business operating in a targeted service delivery field or a strong recruiter ideally with welfare to work experience. We may also consider strong retail managers
Able to demonstrate proven and sustained success in delivery of financial and quality targets through others
Excellent relationship building, people management and customer service skills
Strong leader with a proven ability in planning and meeting time, cost and quality targets
Ability to prepare and analyse budgets and control expenditure
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the relevant industry sectors
Demonstrate an understanding of contractual compliance and provide financial and performance information to agreed specifications
Strong management, leadership and communication skills
Sound analysis and judgement
The ability to comprehend and disseminate data, information, ideas, knowledge
Excellent reasoning ability, confident, assertive and co-operative approach to relationships internal & external
Excellent presentation skills, oral and written
