A leading energy provider based in South Lanarkshire urgently requires 4 Procurement Managers for a 12 month fixed term contract.
The roles are to develop, agree and implement specific procurement strategies to obtain value for money and sustainable cost reductions from expenditure on goods, services and works. The successful candidates will be required to ensure that the Company’s requirements are sourced from the right suppliers utilising the right contractual and commercial arrangements which recognise and mitigate risk.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of EU procurement directives, make complex decisions under pressure and manage the service delivery from 3rd parties in the procurement process. This client is innovative and is constantly seeking to develop and deliver supplier improvements in line with the supplier management framework from a commercial and relationship perspective.
Ideally you will have a degree (or equivalent), have knowledge of the energy market with associated products and services and be associated to CIPS.
